Today in Old West History:

John Tewksbury murdered... On this date in 1887 outlaw and hired gun Andy Blevins a.k.a. Andy Cooper led some of his brothers and other cattlemen on a night ambush of the Tewksbury sheep camp. They shot John Tewksbury and Bill Jacobs in cold blood. Blevins was so infuriated that other sheepmen escaped that he let some hogs eat the bodies of Tewksbury and Jacobs.
